Lost bunny gets the five star treatment at the Adare Manor Hotel

A toy bunny accidentally left behind at a hotel became a bit of an internet sensation after being given the luxury treatment over the weekend while he waited to be reunited with his young owner.

The Adare Manor posted photos of the bunny enjoying all the five-star hotel had to offer in an attempt to locate his family, who they say misplaced him at breakfast.

And it looks like he had the best time.

"We got such a huge response that we thought we'd show the bunny's journey and what his stay would be like," Adare Manor spokeswoman Sarah Ormston told ABC News.

The photos of the toy's exploits delighted the hotels Facebook fans and the thousands of likes and shares alerted a friend of the family who contacted the hotel.

Three-year-old Kate Hogan from Nenagh stopped by the hotel yesterday to pick up Jellycat - her first ever teddy - and the sweet moment was captured by the hotel.

Just look at those faces.

Jellycat is now at home - we just hope he didn’t get too used to the five-star treatment.

"They were so delighted," Ormston added. "Her mom said Kate was sad being away from her bunny because she sleeps with it every night, but when she saw how much fun the bunny was having she couldn't wait to see him again."
