Pregnant CNN anchor faints mid-broadcast
A pregnant CNN news anchor had a bit of a scary moment on air when she fainted mid-broadcast yesterday.
Poppy Harlow was in the middle of a live report on ISIS when her speech gradually became slow and muffled. The moment of her collapse happened off-camera.
The producers then cut to co-anchor Brian Stelter who finished the segment before returning to Poppy who explained what happened:
"I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment, but I am fine," she said.
However, the 33-year-old anchorwoman was taken to hospital where she was monitored. She also tweeted updates on her condition, thanking everyone for their concern.
Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team.

Happily, both Poppy and her unborn child are both doing fine.
Update from the hospital -- our little girl due this spring is doing just fine. Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!
