Drug dealer advertises his wares on Facebook, promptly gets arrested
Police in India had a fairly easy drug bust recently when a dealer started a Facebook page to advertise his "product".
The page, called “Bangalore Cannabis” and which is described as a "local business", was set up by Sushil Kumar Moosad, to post photos and prices of his marijuana for any would-be buyers.
.
Moosad, who sold other drugs like LSD and mushrooms, even had his phone number and address on the page to make it easier for customers to get in touch with him, of course.
.
The Bangalore Mirror reported that an anonymous Facebook user tipped off the police, who contacted him posing as potential customers and arrested him after a transaction.
.
An officer told the paper: “He had taken drug peddling to an altogether different level. He was using Facebook to lure his customers. He had posted pictures of himself smoking pot and had also given his contact details.”
For some reason, Sushil hasn't made a Facebook post since October 22...
