The strike which was scheduled between 6am and 9am caused those who relied on trains to find another way of getting to work.

So, as you can imagine, Hailo Ireland had a bumper morning.

Hailo employees were tweeting pics of the company hard at work coordinating efforts across the city.

But, despite Hailo's best efforts, commuters were still fairly miffed.

The trains are running again so at least everyone will get home this evening.
