PICS: Father of the bride invites daughter's stepdad to walk down the aisle with them
What a lovely gesture.
Todd Bachman was about to walk his daughter, Brittany, down the aisle at her wedding to Jeremy Peck in Ohio when he paused and went back to invite her stepdad
Photographer Delia Blackburn who captured the special moment which had everyone in tears described how it went down on her Facebook page.
"Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany's stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony. including me! Families are what we make them...make it about your kids and not your ego," she wrote.
"Congratulations Todd Bachman on showing your kids what true love really is...love for your children."

Delia also said that she spoke to Todd after the ceremony and he explained why he did it:
"He has helped me raise my daughter and he should be walking with us."
As simple as that.
