You can now see your Whatsapp ‘best friends’

Remember that time bosses over at Snapchat got rid of its 'Best Friends' feature and the world freaked out?

Well WhatsApp’s new update feature, which allows users to keep tabs on their data usage, has brought it back.

The option, which is buried in WhatsApp's Settings menu, can now tell you who you communicate with the most.

But don’t worry, your secret is safe, as the information can only be seen by you - or someone who ‘borrows’ your phone.

So, without further ado:

How to find out who your WhatsApp Best Friends are:

1. Open your app and select Settings

2. Select Account

3. Select Storage usage

Now, the larger group chats are of course more likely to dominate the rankings, but it will also show you the individuals you correspond with the most.
