VIDEO: Beautiful blue whale trolls BBC presenter with impeccable timing

Zoologist Mark Carwardine had a bit of a mishap while searching for blue whales as part of the BBC’s new programme Big Blue Live.

Having had no luck all day in the hunt to spot blue whales, Mark launched into a very well thought out piece to camera explaining the multitude of reasons as to why they hadn’t spotted a whale yet.

Just as Mark finished his piece a whale pops right up on the horizon, making everything he has just said utterly redundant. The crew and Mark can’t contain their laughter as the whale appears right on cue.

Isn’t the whale just beautiful though?
