VIDEO: Cork girl repeatedly scares the bejaysus out of her mother

This shouldn't be that funny - but it really, really is.

Laura Barrett has been spending her summer taking up a new hobby - terrifying her poor beleaguered mother over and over again.

In a video uploaded to Facebook, Laura - from Cork - jumps out from behind doors, sneaks up, and generally terrorises poor Angela, to cries of "Jesus! Laura!" again and again - and it just doesn't get old.

"Nobody was harmed in the making of this video," Laura adds in the video description, though that one with the hot kettle looked like a close call.

In fairness to Angela, she never seems to lose her patience, either - just a plea to be left alone.
