QUIZ: Are you left-brained or right-brained?
It's which got us thinking about the (supposed) differences between left-handed people and right-handed people.
The right side of the brain is popularly associated with expressing and reading emotions, processing colour and music while the left side has been linked with language, logic and critical thinking.
As a person's dominant side of the brain is thought to be opposite to their handedness, usually left-handed people are considered to be more creative and right-handed people are said to be more analytical.
But how correct is that?
As with most things, the truth is more complicated. Scientists now believe that although the two halves of the brain are indeed different, they are more connected than previously thought.
And the belief that a person's handedness was opposite from the specialized brain hemisphere is also up for debate.
Do you think you're more of a left-brained or a right-brained thinker? And does it tally with your dominant hand?
