VIDEO: Pilot plays Top Gun music during take-off

Highway to the Danger Zone!

A captain and a flight attendant channelled their inner Maverick and Goose during take-off of a Southwest Airlines flight.

As the plane lurches forward you can hear Kenny Loggins’ song Danger Zone, the theme to the 80s smash hit film Top Gun, play over the PA system.

Taking inspiration from his captain, a flight attendant then decides to quote lines from the movie. He even jokes with passengers by asking his ‘Maverick’ to do a “barroll roll.” Don’t worry he doesn’t!

It’s all in good fun.
