VIDEO: Irish dad's hilarious reaction to flying for the first time
Newry native Patsy Carville’s journey to Liverpool for his daughter’s graduation was rather special for a different reason.
57-year-old Patsy had never been on a plane before and his other daughter Michelle decided to film how he’d react to the take-off.
It’s fair to say there’s a few expletives involved!
Michelle sent the video to Her.ie and told them her father pulled the most Irish of moves on the return flight home.
“On the return flight back to Ireland, he went into the cockpit to shake hands with the pilot to say thank you for getting him home safely and said, ‘Now I know why the pope kisses the ground in every country he arrives in’," said Michelle.
It looks like Patsy enjoyed his experience though, so hopefully he won’t wait so long to fly again.
