VIDEO: Man tries to charge his phone onstage during a Broadway play

Yeah, that socket's not real.

It never ceases to amaze us how the notions people get.

Like this incident in New York.

During a recent production of hit Broadway comedy Hand To God, a man jumped up on stage to plug in his charger.

Among the many things that were wrong with that is the fact that the socket is, of course, not real as it is part of the set.

The man was quickly escorted out by the ushers to the audience's amusement but was not asked to leave the theatre. When he retrieved his phone, he is said to have asked "well, where can I charge it?".

There are also reports that the man did it for a dare. Or to be 'funny'.
