WATCH: Siri doesn’t like being asked what’s zero divided by zero

You might not like the answer.

Apple’s natural language user interface Siri really doesn’t like being asked one particular silly question.

Siri is handy for many things like directions and reminders – although it is woeful at understanding the Irish accent.

Asking Siri ‘what’s zero divided by zero’ will bring a riposte you might not have been expecting.

Asking the question will get you the following response: “Imagine that you have zero cookies and you split them evenly among zero friends,” Siri says.

“How many cookies does each person get? See? It doesn’t make sense.

“And Cookie Monster is sad that there are no cookies, and you are sad that you have no friends.”

Harsh!
