Lucky Dublin punter wins €30k in Lotto bet

Bookmaker BoyleSports have taken a hit after a Co Dublin punter, who wishes to remain anonymous, netted €30,010 on a €10 national lottery bet.

The south-east Co Dublin customer placed €10 on two sets of four numbers for all three draws, bringing the total cost of the bet up to €60.

After the numbers 2, 17, 27 and 33 were drawn in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday night they defied the odds of 3000/1 to net a massive €30,010 return on their €60 stake.

“If the lucky Dublin punter had played the Lotto they would have only won €15 and instead they have a whopping €30,010 in their pocket,” said Glynn.
