The Rubberbandits were interviewed on BBC's Newsnight last night

Blind Boy was asked about - what else? -- the Marriage Equality Referendum.

We're not sure we ever imagined this would happen.

Last night, BBC's current affairs show Newsnight ran a segment on tomorrow's Marriage Equality Referendum and interviewed a number of Irish people.

They spoke to David Norris but the reporter also interviewed another slightly more inconguous public figure - Blind Boy from the Rubberbandits.

The reporter dryly explained who he was as the video for 'Horse Outside' played before Blind Boy was asked on what a Yes vote would mean for Ireland.

And he was predictably eloquent - enhanced, of course, by his plastic bag mask..

Now we have 'Horse Outside' stuck in our heads. Which is no bad thing.
