Brilliant Telegraph letter proves how predictive text can change everything

If you own a phone, you’ll understand the perils that the autocorrect function sometimes throws up when you’re texting.

David Lavelle from North Yorkshire in the UK had been helping his 16-year-old daughter to do her homework, when she received a rather profound text from her mother.

The text read “What do you want from life?” and David told the Telegraph in a letter that it made him and his daughter debate some of life's more important points like health, wealth and careers etc. That was all until the phone beeped again with another message five minutes later.

If you can't see the tweet you can view it here.

Oh the joys of autocorrect!
