Marvel's upcoming action film Avengers: Age of Ultron is expected to be a pretty big hit when it's released on April 23, with its big budget, state-of-the-art special effects, and star cast.

But what if it had been released in the mid-90s? Well, New York Magazine decided to show us, and the result is blissfully nostalgic - and was definitely inspired by the Independence Day (1996) trailer.

In some ways, it's all down to the voice - clearly impersonating Don LaFontaine, the famous 'voice' of trailers for decades.

What a voice, eh? Everyone knows Don LaFontaine, whether they know they know him or not.
