John Oliver on why April Fool's Day is just awful

"April Fool's Day is to comedy what St. Patrick's Day is to Irish culture."

Tomorrow is April 1st and you know what that means,

It's April Fool's, the day when you can't trust anything the TV, radio, newspapers, friends, family, social media or co-workers tell you.

It's the day where you should check who's hiding in the wardrobe, worry what's been put in your morning coffee and generally be in a paronoid state of high alert until midnight.

But one man has come out to say what we all secretly know in our hearts - April Fools Day is awful and we should just do away with it.

Let's all listen to John Oliver and reclaim the first day of April for good.
