WATCH: Colour-blind people experience what they've been missing
If your sight is something you take for granted, then watching this video may make you think again.
Glasses company EnChroma makes special lenses to help people with the most common form of colour-blindness experience reds and greens again.
The video follows a number of colour-blind people as they try out the glasses and finally see the colours they have been missing out on for most of their lives.
You can just see the emotions it inspires in them with one saying: “For a second I felt kind of sad, like: 'Wow I've been missing out, how vibrant everything has been'.”
Movingly, they allow one man to finally see his little boy's colourful paintings as they really are.
The glasses to address the red-green colour blindness range from $325 (€297.75) to $450 (€412.27).
The next time we see a sunset, we might just appreciate it that little bit more.
