Man leaves heartwarming note and tip in honour of his late brother's birthday

Every year, this man goes out to eat his late brother's favourite meal and leaves a special tip.

This man does something very special every year on his late brother's birthday.

Wes' favourite meal was hot dogs so to honour his birthday, he goes to a restaurant, orders some hot dogs - and leaves a tip equal to the age Wes would have been.

On March 8th this year, he would have turned 36.

The touching story came to light on Reddit after the waitress who served him in the Tennessee restaurant posted the note he left her on the back a receipt.

"Happy b-day Wes."

And one Redditor - who has clearly watched too much CSI - confirmed the story by reversing the image and enhancing the type so he could make out the words on the back of the receipt.

The story checks out and it seems that €36 is over a 100% tip on his order.
