The South African branch of the Salvation Army tweeted the below image of a woman wearing the dress in white and gold with the tagline "Why is it so hard to see black and blue?'

It is thought that one in six women in South Africa suffer abuse and the charity hopes the campaign will highlight how society sometimes overlooks domestic violence.
