Byron Ferguson is an archer - and archer so good he can shoot a fingernail-sized object right through the centre, with an old-fashioned longbow he made himself.

He does this for a living, performing as an exhibition archer for show. But Destin from YouTube channel Smarter Every Day decided it would be neat to film his trick shots in super-slow motion.

After the first shot, Destin explains just how difficult it is, using math - but don't worry, he keeps it super-short and snappy just so you know how amazing what you're seeing is. Plus, the more you know the better, right?

After shooting a single aspirin tablet, Byron says: "the centre of an aspirin target is the same size as the centre of a basketball," in true hard-man fashion.

I'm off to join the local archery club.
