Video: Skydiver with seizure saved from certain death

Thankfully it all ends well but it's a tough watch.

Video: Skydiver with seizure saved from certain death

In a frankly terrifying video, a skydiver narrowly cheats death when he experiences a seizure and passes out at 9000ft.

'Nomadic Adrenaline', the user who posted the footage on YouTube, describes his near death experience during his solo jump and the role the quick-thinking instructor played in his rescue.

"Possibly the scariest moment of my life. At around 9000ft I have a seizure while attempting a left hand turn. I then spend the next 30 seconds in free fall unconscious(ness)."

"Thankfully my jumpmaster manages to pull my ripcord at around 4000ft. I become conscious at 3000 ft and land safely back to the ground."

(The action begins one minute in)

Superman to the rescue anyone?

The video has since gone viral. Suffice to say we will be taking skydiving off our bucket list.
