Was Noel Gallagher lip-syncing on the Saturday Night Show?

Yes. Yes he was.

Noel Gallagher’s performance on this week's Saturday Night Show was the subject of much speculation on Twitter. Is he guilty of lip-syncing or is he simply just that good? (Watch back here)

As it turns out, he was indeed lip-syncing as confirmed by DailyEdge.ie who spoke to RTÉ.

No doubt Noel will roll with it.

Now to feast on some other perfomances that drew the ire of the public.

1) Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee had us in pieces during this ill-fated appearance on Saturday Night Live.

2) Lindsay Lohan

This Good Morning America spot led to accusations of lip-syncing for poor old Lilo.

3) Mariah Carey

Mariah must have been feeling pretty blue after the backlash to this performance at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival.

4) 50 Cent

Put your hands up, put your hands up .. Oh I give up.

5) Milli Vanilli

Arguably the granddaddy of all confirmed lip-sync fails, Milli Vanilli’s performance during the 1990 Grammys did not go quite to plan. Girl you know it's true. Please make it stop.

Don't look back in anger. Lip-sync along instead!
