JK Rowling pens heartwarming note to bullied fan

JK Rowling has proven yet again how good she is to her fans.
Rowling fan Johnnie Blue met the author at an event for her latest book 'The Silkworm' and gave her a specially designed notebook and a handwritten letter thanking her for helping him through years of intense bullying.
Last August, Johnnie - a student who lives in Scotland - returned home from school to find a letter from Rowling praising his strength in dealing with the bullies. And she appointed to Gryffindor - the highest honour for any Harry Potter fan:
"Your experience is shocking and disturbing and that you have turned out to be a compassionate, moral, highly motivated person is a high testimony to your courage. Gryffindor for you, my lad..."
“J.K. Rowling to me, is a hero,” Johnnie told BuzzFeed.
She’s saved so many peoples lives, along with mine, something I will be eternally grateful for.”
The pair have since been communicating regularly on Twitter - Rowling had promised in her letter to look out for him.
