WATCH: Estonian President abandons Sky News interview after being called the wrong name
Veteran Sky News anchor Dermot Murnaghan got the President of Estonia’s name wrong yesterday morning and it angered him so much that he abandoned a live interview.
President Toomas Hendrik was due to speak to Murnaghan about the Russian advance on Ukraine when the host referred to him as “President Hendrik” not once, but twice.
Cleary agitated at this point, the Estonian leader rips out his ear piece and can be seen telling someone in the background, “Get my name right.”
Murnaghan who seemed unfazed by the incident then swiftly moves onto the weather.
