Shopkeeper snatches gun during robbery caught on CCTV
An English shopkeeper found himself at gunpoint last week - only to calmly snatch the firearm and turn it on his attacker with ease.
Uploaded to LiveLeak over the weekend, the CCTV footage shows Hunar Mohammed working at his shop in Borehamwood, outside London, when the man suddenly pulls a firearm on him.
Speaking to the local Borehamwood Times, Mohamed said: “What choice did I have but to take the gun from him? I wasn’t scared. I just took the gun from him and he ran and that was that.
“It’s the first time this has ever happened to me but I am from Iraq so I am used to seeing guns. That is why I left the country.”
The newspaper also reports that the attack happened late on Saturday night, and Mr Mohamed didn't call the police until the following afternoon - when he handed over what turned out to be an imitation gun.
One man was charged following the dramatic incident.
