It's Act of Kindness Friday!

And our winners are:

It's Act of Kindness Friday!

This week was Powering Kindness Week sponsored by Electric Ireland.

So we thought as well as completing our kind acts for the week, we'd change up our weekly Good News Friday competition to keep in theme with #poweringkindness.

We asked you to share your act of kindness by commenting on our Facebook post, tweeting us or sending up a snapchat - and it looks like you all have been very kind this week.

Sonya Tobin bought some cakes for the lads working in the dump as “it’s not an easy job”.

And Susan Leahy and Caitriona Walsh gave a helping hand to their neighbours.

“ I brought in my neighbour's shopping while she brought in the kids and helped her put (the shopping) away,” Susan told us and Caitriona got up at 8am to bring her neighbour to a job interview.

Well done, ladies!

Trisha Bourke gave an hour and a half of her time to manually enter contact numbers into her mother’s new phone as she "accidently deleted them all".

Oh Trisha, we know the feeling - a big bualadh bos to you!

It was all about the gift of free coffee for our snapchatters - mapleanz204 & onzie_loveJ

Evelyn Powell Corry brought her husband a coffee in bed this morning, and Susie McGowan gave a ticket-seller outside supervalu a hot drink to keep her warm.

Dermot Moore and Stephen Boyle tweeted us their kind acts of the week.

Well Done Guys!

And after this week we really have to agree with tweeter Bernadette Phillips.

So to top off a week of good deeds, here are some prizes:

The winners of our Act of Kindness Friday are: Sonya Tobin, Susie McGown, Susan Leahy and our snapchatters mapleanz204 & onzie_loveJ.

To claim your prizes email anna.odonoghue@breakingnews.ie and to our snapchat winners, just check your snapchat.

Congrats everyone and don’t forget …
