It’s Good News Friday - where you make us smile

If you’re anything like us, the change in the weather played with our emotions this week, and what better way to get us back into the swing of things than some good news!

We asked you to share with us - via Facebook and Snapchat - what's making you happy today, and as always we’ve smiled from ear-to-ear reading your comments.

For some people around the country it is still snowing and Damhnaic Mac Ciaragáin, Joanne Kearney and Christina Mc Donald are loving every minute of it.

"Sun and snow ... at the same time (almost)!! Best weather ever!!," Robbie Higgins commented.

Carmel Hughes has spent the morning being entertained by “her dog trying to catch the snow” while Joanne Kearney is tucked up by the fire enjoying a rare snow day off work.

Others around the country are soaking up a wee bit of sunshine and extremely glad to see the back of #stormrachel.

Katie Theasby and Frances Mc Cormack are really looking forward to spring and can already see the daffodils, snowdrops and “crocus’s peaking through”.

While this snapchatter’s sunny view from her front door would make anyone smile.

Oh Ireland … you pretty.

Jinger Kat MacGhiollaphoil kindly left this Imelda May song on our page before she headed off for a walk in the sunshine and we are still giggling at Joanne Daly’s three-year-old “trying to hoover her room”.

Now if that doesn’t make you all smile, we don’t know what will.

Without further ado, our winners are Carmel Hughes, Joanne Daly, Jinger Kat MacGhiollaphoil, Katie Theasby and snapchatter barrowgirl2014

Congrats everyone!
