Albanian PM dons the classiest, simplest Paris tribute yet
It's often the case that a simple message is the most powerful.
At yesterdays' rally of national unity in Paris, world leaders gathered along with thousands of Parisians to commemorate the victims of last week's shootings.
And among them all stood Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, with a simple, beautiful tribute that might have gone unnoticed by his peers.
.
In place of a man's pocket square (or ), Rama wore three artist's pencils in the bright colours of the French flag: blue, white, and red - a fitting tribute to an attack on cartoonists.

.
Quite apart from being Prime Minister, Rama is an artist and writer himself. His father was a sculptor, and Rama himself has had exhibitions of his artwork several times in the 1990s.
Creative, clever, subtle and classy.
