Are we liking the new set?

RTÉ’s Late Late Show unveiled a new set on their show last night and it has divided the viewing public right down the middle.

The programme also opened with a new snazzy title sequence, where the famous owl now appears as a silhouette.

Host Ryan Tubridy opened the first show of 2015 by showing off the new digs and addressing the audience saying “I hope you like what we’ve done with the place”.

The new set was designed by Marcella Power and features brown leather seats, offbeat paintings and a new glass entranceway.

The show opened with Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary and he was joined by follow guests UK Apprentice duo Pamela Uddin and Roisin Hogan, former Westlife star Nicky Byrne, world famous author Deepak Chopra as well as Ireland’s newest world boxing champion Andy Lee.

O’Leary even went as far as giving away free return flights with his airline to everyone in the audience, after a little coaxing from Ryan of course.

Byrne, now a DJ on RTÉ 2fm, had an eventful appearance - re-enacting his After Eight Challenge that he performed on the radio previously.

The former singer was once on the books of Leeds United as a youth goalkeeper and showed he hasn’t lost a step last night.

Twitter was totally split down the middle on the new set design.
