Hard hat saves Serbian minister from huge icicle

Holy moly, that was lucky!

Serbian Energy Minister Aleksandar Antic had a lucky escape after being stuck by a massive icicle last week.

Antic had travelled to the eastern town of Majdanpek to oversee repair work being done on snowstorm hit power lines when he was hit.

Fortunately for Antic his hard hat saved him from what would have been a devastating head injury.

You can see the force of the hit in the large crack it causes in the hard hat.

Now folks that’s why you have to wear them, safety first!
