The trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens took the internet by storm on Friday, but we're sure everyone had the same thought: it needs more special effects.

Enter the trailer's special edition, ready to fix all those problems they just couldn't get to in time for release.

The remade trailer is an excellent parody of the controversial special editions of the original trilogy George Lucas released in 1997.

In a nutshell, fans don't like how Lucas lumped in out-of-place special effects, from the awful nightclub singer to random CG monsters roaming the landscape. And, of course, Han shot first.

If, for some reason, you haven't see it yet, check out the original version first, then compare it with the 'enhanced' version below.

And that's not all. YouTuber Snooperking decided that, as with all things these days, the trailer needed to be remade in a Lego version.

Considering it was knocked together on the day the trailer was actually released, he did a pretty decent job.
