It's Good News Friday - here's what's making you happy this week.

Good News - big and small, we love it all.

We’ve been running these Good News competitions for a while now and what always strikes us is that while people do post the *big news* of their week, often it’s the little things that are making people happy.

Like Tom Conniffe who today writes: “I have the day off to go walking in the countryside and it's not raining! Good news for me anyhow.”

And when you have a new baby at home, sleep can be the greatest news of all.

Sinead Doyle says that her baby slept for five hours last night while Dee Morgan posted :”My little man slept all night last night! 13.5 hours! First time EVER!”

And lots of people are very excited about curling up on the couch tonight with their family and watching the Late Late Toy Show tonight.

As Debbie Sewell writes: “The Late Late Toy Show is on tonight. no further explanation needed.”

Ann Marie Butler is looking forward to watching too AND she’s putting up her Christmas decorations.

Jason O Connor can’t wait to snuggle up on the couch with the kids while Carolyn Delaney I has “four excited kids here & my hubbies home from travelling with work” and she “missed him loads”

And there was Big Good News too.

Ger Keogh is “just home from temple street with my little girl who is 8 weeks old today and looking forward to watching the toy show with my little family”.

Róisín Gore writes: “I'm getting my little sister & nephew home from Australia for Christmas 2 years since I seen them last”. Now, that’s exciting.

Gina Langdon and her son have got some very good news indeed:

“My severe Haemophiliac 2 yr old got a date today for the start of his prophylaxis. Some protection for him against his joint bleeds! Yahoo. Happy Friday everyone!”

And Jackie O Neill has two pieces of good news today - “ I'm going on a date tonight & got a full time position in work”

Woo!
