Russell Brand tweets support for tomorrow's Irish Water protest

The UK comedian has been an unlikely ally of the water charges protestors.

Irish Water protestors have found a perhaps unlikely ally in Russell Brand.

The comedian, actor and activist devoted an episode of his online show The Trews to the issue of water charges - and he hasn't forgotten about it.

Russell tweeted the following, reminding the people of Limerick of a protest in the city tomorrow:
