Paraplegic groom surprises bride with wedding dance without his wheelchair.

This is very sweet.

Sgt. Joey Johnson served in Afghanistan and on his return, he found riding his motors cycle helped him escape from the symptoms of his PTSD.

But just four months after his return to the US, he was involved in an accident that left him paralysed from the chest down.

It was obviously a major trauma for Joey and his fiancée, Michelle, but they got through it and are learning to cope.

The couple were married last April - and Joey secretly planned a very touching surprise for Michelle.

Enlisting the help of friends, they created a harness for Joey that would allow him to have his first dance with his new wife, face to face.

"Everyone was crying in the room. It was so amazing to be eye to eye with him again, and such a dream come true," said Michelle.
