Now this is how you respond to a slagging.

Russell Brand releases Parklife parody - with help from the Rubber Bandits

You might have noticed that Russell Brand has rebranded himself (see what we did there) as a bit of a revolutionary and has been very active on both social and mainstream media promoting his ideas and world view.

Oh and his new book.

The comedian - who is well-known and sometimes mocked for his very particular use of the English language - was recently subject to a pretty funny Twitter onslaught after someone pointed out that his writing sounded as if someone was going to yell 'PARKLIFE' after every sentence - as in Blur's hit nineties song.

Well, Russell and our very own Rubberbandits have turned the criticisms on their head in this new 'Parklife' parody that manages to acknowledge the humour of the joke while repurposing it for Brand's manifesto.

You can still hear the Limerick in the lads, even while singing.

Quality.
