Video editor John Harvey decided to have some fun with the charming new John Lewis Christmas ad that has captivated thousands with its endearing portrayal of one boy and his lovelorn penguin.

Harvey decided that Monty might have a darker side to him so he recut the original video reimagining the penguin as something altogether more sinister.
