This is one of the most incredible videos of earth's weather we've ever seen.
From emergent rainbows to indigo lightning storms, it's all here in full high-definition glory. Just wait until the three-minute mark, when it gets It's worth playing in full screen high definition, with the sound turned up.
The videographer, Nicolaus Wegner, is something of an expert at photographing the wide open plains of Wyoming. This is the second of his Stormscapes video series, the first of which was released back in March.
"High plains storms are some of the most beautiful and wild in the world," he wrote in the video's description.
"I spent May - September 2014 photographing all types of severe weather in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado. This time lapse project is a result of that effort. From rainbows to tornadoes, there is a little bit of everything in here."
Music used in the piece is called Leader, and comes from electronic musician MODE.
