A surfer climbed on a dead whale that was being eaten by sharks
If you saw a dead whale floating in the middle of the ocean, what would be your first thought?
Probably not "Hey, I should sit on it."
But that's what Harrison Williams, 26, decided to do when he saw this clearly decomposing whale floating off the Australia's West coast.

And it was all fun and games - with some pics showing Harrison appearing to 'surf' on top the animal - until he noticed the sharks - up to four tiger and white sharks - swimming around and having the whale for dinner.
And, of course, he had to be rescued.
While he originally said he was trying to 'rescue' the whale (suuuurre….), Harrison then explained to Seven News what went down:
"I was out on the boat with the boys and one of my mates said it would be pretty funny to surf the whale so I did it.

"Definitely would not do it again. I've done it, I don't need to do it again. Definitely it was a stupid act, I didn't mean to disrespect anyone.
"My mum thinks I'm an idiot, dad's not too proud either."
We can imagine.

Aside from being incredibly dangerous, just imagine how gross sitting on top of a dead whale would be - the smell!
