Roy Keane delivers scathing review on Hollywood hit

During the promotion of his new book, The Second Half, Roy Keane was asked about the last film he had seen.

As you’d expect the legendary Corkman delivered a pretty frank evaluation on the hit Hollywood picture Gone Girl.

Gone Girl is a film adaption of the popular Gillian Flynn novel and stars Ben Affleck alongside Rosamund Pike in the lead roles.

The film has received mainly positive reviews and took in around $38m on opening weekend, but that wasn’t enough for the Republic of Ireland assistant manager.

Keane was taking part in a wide ranging interview with ShortList.com and admitted he likes to go to the cinema in his free time.

Of course the subject of the last film he’d seen came up and Keano was not for turning.

“Gone Girl. Rubbish. Absolute rubbish. I went with a couple of lads from the Irish team, but if I was on my own, honestly, I would’ve walked out,” said Keane.

Oh don’t ever change Roy!
