A 23-year-old New Zealand man's mug shot has gone viral after he decided to play an online game of cat-and-mouse with the Christchurch Police.

Samuel Evan Lake's photo was posted to the Christchurch Police Facebook page with the caption stating that there was a warrant out for his arrest. Lake cheekily commented underneath with "I need to get a new mugshot' - leading to thousands of likes and shares as people eagerly awaited what would happen next.
