VIDEO: Skipping stones across a frozen Alaskan lake makes the coolest sound ever
Now that winter is closing in, it's time to start looking for the silver lining of all these grey clouds.
So maybe take some inspiration from this YouTube filmmaker and actor Cory Williams.
Cory was wandering around the wilds of Alaska with his girlfriend when he decided to see what would happen if he skipped stones off a frozen lake.
And it turned out to make the weirdest/coolest noise ever - much to Cory's child-like delight.
“This is the coolest sound I've ever heard... I'm getting way too much joy out of this."
The hum and pinging noise is caused by the ice vibrating as the stone skips across the surface.
We want to try!
And echoes!? Best day ever!
This guy's enthusiasm is so infectious, we really want to be friends with him. Or at the very least go skipping rocks in Alaska with him.
