We don't often think about the importance of sound to experiences, but any student of cinema knows it's as important to the viewer as the visuals.

That's the idea behind this incredible hang-gliding video, which has a focus on sound engineering rather than the visuals, and it's simply incredible.

Even the opening credits are all about the sound - Thibaut Darscotte, sound engineer, gets all the credit here.

Excited by this? You can paraglide in Ireland through one of the many groups and associations. The Irish Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association is a good place to start, but there are a handful of local clubs too.

It's not cheap, though - an entry-level paraglider will set you back a few thousand euro. Luckily, you'll need to pay for a course to learn the craft, where they'll provide equipment.
