Jennifer Maguire pranks her new intern by putting him live on air on his first day

Breakfast Republic, RTÉ 2fm's morning show with a comedic slant, got themselves a new intern: Kevin, fresh-faced and just out of school.

So, naturally, Jen, Bernard and Keith decided to prank him on camera for the amusement of the nation.

What happens when an intern is the only one who's not sick? Kevin finds out, as he's left to fend for himself on "live national radio".

It's a slow burner, but stick with it for the five minute mark, when it reaches a whole new level.

But here's what we don't get about the prank: it's Jen Maguire. She's done this a few times before, whether it's installing the water meter with a knife-wielding angry resident, or putting a prisoner in some unsuspecting soul's home.
