VIDEO: Cat escapes burning building AFTER it collapses

Talk about nine lives.

Sylvester is one lucky cat.

Not only did the feline manage to escape an all-consuming fire, he also came out unharmed from the total collapse of the building.

The fire broke out last Thursday at the historic Towers Hotel in Dauphin, Manitoba. The 25 permanent members of the hotel are being relocated and one man is in custody on suspicion of arson.

Sylvester is said to be doing ok - he escaped from the blaze relatively unharmed but did suffered some smoke inhalation. He has since been reunited with his owner.

Luckily, he probably still has seven lives left.
