Police officers finish pizza delivery after driver's car accident

Pizza for all!

Now this is going above and beyond the call of duty.

These two Portland police officers seriously impressed Steve Huckins earlier this month when they delivered the pizza he had ordered after the Pizza Hut driver had been involved in a car accident.

The driver was hurt but is said to be recovering.

Steve and his wife had already received a replacement from Pizza Hut when the officers arrived but Steve made sure to get the above pic - which has since gone viral.

"They turn around to leave, and I said, 'whoa, whoa, whoa – I got to get a picture of this. No one is going to believe Portland police delivering a pizza.' So that's the picture everyone saw," Huckins told KOIN.

"I wanted these officers to get a little recognition because these officers went above and beyond."
