VIDEO: Mob throws Ukrainian politician into a bin

An angry mob in Kiev took matters into their own hands on Tuesday while marching outside parliament buildings.

The protesters took issue with Vitaly Zhuravsky and his well-known anti-demonstrating stance so instead of starting a petition or writing catchy slogans on their placards, they threw him in a bin.

Held down and still clutching his briefcase, water was then poured over the well-dressed Zhuravsky's head and a tyre was tossed on top of him as onlookers shouted profanities at him.

According to NBC news, Zhuravsky - a former member of ex-President Viktor Yanukovich's Party of the Regions - has a history of authorising bills restricting anti-government protests.

After Zhuravsky sat and took his punishment, he was then reportedly allowed to climb out of the bin and leave.
