An Australian tourist captured the footage of a lifetime recently when he caught on film the explosive eruption of a volcano in Papua New Guinea.

Phillip McNamara was aboard a sightseeing boat on August 29 when Mount Tavurvur - an active stratovolcano that lies near Rabaul, on the island of New Britain - spectacularly blew it's top.
