Michael O’Leary runs an ice bucket gauntlet

Ryanair staff lined up around the block to hit CEO Michael O'Leary an impressive 14 TIMES with buckets of ice water as part of the Ice Bucket Challenge.

O’Leary and his staff raised a mightily impressive €10,000 for The Jack & Jill foundation as he took the challenge outside the company offices.

The Ryanair CEO was his usual self before taking the challenge saying: "You can't match our fares. You can't even freeze your fares.

"The least you can do is freeze your nuts!"

To be fair to O’Leary he took the challenge like a champ and even seemed to slightly enjoy it towards the end.

He follows the businessman Denis O’Brien who took the challenge himself today in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Fair play guys, two great causes to raise money for!

Here is team breakingnews.ie’s effort at the Ice Bucket Challenge from yesterday!
